I'm truly amazed when I reflect on the achievements, I have made in my real estate career. My unwavering determination to succeed has allowed me to shape the career of my dreams. Throughout this journey, my family has always been my main motivation. Along the way, I've acquired numerous invaluable skills that have transformed me into a better individual.
As a young adult trying to figure out my goals in life, I quickly realized helping people was my passion. That lead me to massage school and working as a full-time massage therapist at Hotel del Coronado. I loved my job helping people every day. However, I never worked with the same person twice. I longed for a career where I could build relationships and establish meaningful connections. Real estate emerged as a promising avenue, especially during the boom of the early 2000s.
After the birth of our second son, we longed to be closer to family, which lead us back to Lake County. Where I started my real estate career and thrived until the market turn of 2009. We like many others in the country, found ourselves in a place of needing to make changes for the well being of our family. Luckily, a job opportunity came up in San Diego that landed us back in our home away from home. This was the start of a transformative journey in my young real estate career.
I felt I had finally found a path that aligned with all of my values, prioritizing my family, helping people and forming lifelong relationships within my community. Even as the market shifted, I was determined to continue in real estate. I thought returning to San Diego would provide more opportunities. Little did I know it would bring a host of new challenges.
The decision to return to San Diego was exciting yet daunting. Unlike the small town I was used to serving, San Diego demanded an entirely new approach. I was no longer one of a handful of REALTORS® but one of thousands. Amidst the economic turmoil, I felt like I was diving into an ocean. The first few years were a tumultuous test of resilience. Raising two children, managing a household and establishing myself in this over-saturated environment became a daily balancing act.
It took nearly two years of building relationships in San Diego before I hit a breakthrough. I closed my first transaction there in 2011. From there, everything snowballed. Once I found my footing, each client began referring me
to friends and family. As I developed confidence and gained more experience, more clients sought me out.
The San Diego real estate scene demanded not just expertise but a keen understanding of market dynamics. With each passing year, I expanded my knowledge base, staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging technology to streamline processes.
Transitioning to a bigger market was not just a professional challenge; it was a journey of personal growth. Each successful deal, every negotiation won and all the moments where I held my ground were threads woven into the fabric of a more self-assured version of myself.
When I became a single mom, the confidence I had built was a lifeline, providing me the strength to move forward and start a new life of my own. I was able to provide for my kids while still being just as involved in their activities as before—it was an amazing feeling to know I could do this on my own and be successful.
As my kids, Tristan and Luke, grew up, I was able to be very involved, coaching soccer teams, being the PTA president and volunteering with the Ocean Beach Main Street Association. These ventures have allowed me to continue expanding my initial goal, which is to find ways to help people. Real estate has allowed me to be a devoted mother, successful businesswoman and involved member of my community.
When not working, I love being outdoors, surfing, walking along the beach and going on bike rides. This is a beautiful area, and I try to soak it up every day!
In 2019, feeling the need for a new challenge, I decided to pursue my broker's license. In September 2023, I started my own brokerage to offer my clients a better service. From providing flexible listing options to thorough marketing and negotiations, I want to make your buying and selling experience as exceptional as possible. By accommodating the needs of those who have supported me for years, I hope to honor my clients and demonstrate my unwavering commitment to their needs!
